What you receive

A personalized, illustrated story in Persian, English or both, delivered as a digital PDF by email. We do not send a printed book yet; a printed edition is planned.

We draw your child in our storybook style from the photos you send. The result is a storybook character that looks like your child, not an exact likeness.

Where we serve

We serve customers in Canada and the United States only. Because of international sanctions, we do not offer any service to Iran: we do not take orders or payments from Iran, and we do not ship or email stories, planners or anything else there.

By sending a request you confirm that you live in Canada or the United States, that you are not ordering for or on behalf of anyone in Iran, and that any gift recipient also lives in Canada or the United States.

We accept payment only from Canada and the United States. We may refuse or cancel an order, and refund any payment, if it appears to come from or be meant for somewhere we do not serve.

How ordering works

After you fill in the form, you see a short preview of books from our collection. You then pay on our payment page: by card on a secure page run by Stripe, or by Interac e-Transfer when that option is shown.

Your order is confirmed once we have received payment. We then email the finished PDF within 5 days, or within 10 days for a custom story.

Price and discount codes

Prices are shown on the website before you pay, in Canadian dollars. A custom story, written from your own idea, costs more than a book from our collection.

Discount codes are issued by us and are entered on the payment page. A code applies only to books from our collection at the standard price, not to custom stories. Each code can be used once. We may decline a code that was not issued to you.

Changes and refunds

One small correction, such as a spelling or name fix, is included after delivery at no extra cost.

If we cannot deliver your story, we refund your payment in full.

Because each story is made for one child, we cannot offer a refund once the PDF has been delivered, but we will correct any mistake we made.

Your details and photos

You confirm that you are the child’s parent or guardian, or have that person’s permission, and that you have the right to share any photo you send.

Using your story

The PDF is for your personal and family use. You may print it for yourself and share it with family and friends.

You may not sell it or use it commercially. The Maya & Griffin characters, the story text and the illustrations remain our property.

Our responsibility

We make each story with care, but we cannot promise it will be free of every small error. If something goes wrong, our responsibility is limited to correcting the story or refunding what you paid for it.
